Leybonol's oils and lubricants have been developed for different types of vacuum pumps, each one offering excellent thermal stability, low vapor pressure, and high resistance to oxidation. The oils and lubricants include mineral oils, synthetic oils, perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oils and special additives, each designed to meet specific application requirements. Using original Leybonol oils and greases over other lubricants significantly enhances the performance and reliability of your Leybold vacuum pumps and systems.
Mineral Oils
Mineral oil is known for its exceptional compatibility with elastomers and resistance to hydrolysis. It is often referred to as semi-synthetic pump oil. Hydrocracked oils, on the other hand, are manufactured at high hydrogen pressures and elevated temperatures, making them largely free of aromatic compounds and olefins.
